1. Who operates this website
The website bcaun.pt is operated by Voixa Consultors S.L., a Spanish limited company trading under the name BCA Portugal as part of the BCA group. Its identification details are set out above, as required by Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services (LSSI-CE) and, for the Portuguese public, by Article 10 of Decreto-Lei 7/2004.
2. Nature of the content
Articles, calculators, comparisons and guides on this website are general information. They are written carefully and dated, with sources, but they are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, they do not take account of your circumstances, and reading them does not create a client relationship. Tax rules change, sometimes retroactively; check the date at the top of each page and take individual advice before acting.
The calculators run entirely in your browser. Their results are indicative and depend on the assumptions stated beside each one.
3. Professional services
Services are provided only under a written engagement letter that sets out the scope, the fee and the responsible professionals. Where a matter involves acts that Portuguese law reserves to registered lawyers (Lei 49/2004) or certified accountants (Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados), those acts are carried out by professionals registered with the relevant body.
4. Conditions of use
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not interfere with its operation or security, attempt to access restricted areas, or extract its content by automated means without written permission.
5. Liability
We take reasonable care over accuracy but do not guarantee that the content is complete, current or free of errors, and we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of it alone. We are not responsible for the content of external websites we link to, including official sources; a link is not an endorsement. If you tell us about an error or an unlawful link, we will correct or remove it.
6. Intellectual property
The text, design, code, calculators, graphics and the BCA marks on this website belong to the operator or to companies of the BCA group, or are used under licence. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Reproducing whole articles or tools, or using them commercially, requires written consent. Statutes and official documents we quote remain public works.
7. Personal data and cookies
How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent; see the cookie policy.
8. Complaints
Please write to info@bcaun.pt first; we reply within five business days. Consumers in Portugal may also use the electronic complaints book at livroreclamacoes.pt. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and is no longer available.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
This notice is governed by Spanish law. For business clients the courts of Barcelona have jurisdiction. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules and courts of their country of residence.
